Art has long been an important part of my life, and this appreciation has only grown alongside my love of theory, research, and writing.
At Parsons School of Design, I majored in Communication Design, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Specializing in typography, branding, and web design, my design work has ranged from personal to academic to commercial. I’ve designed for individuals who need graphic and web work and in-house at agencies, entertainment companies, and non-profits, such as KCRW, Fullscreen Inc., Strausberg Group, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica, Participant Media, and Creative Artists Agency. I also designed and coded this website. To view my web and graphic work click here.
While pursuing my PhD, I began to specialize in pottery as well, specifically within the University of Southern California’s Roski School of Art & Design. I’m trained in wheel throwing, hand building, and glaze formulation. My ceramic work is varied but often utilizes the relationship between clay and glaze, working to showcase the dynamism and beauty found when the two combine in high fire environments. The above bowl is an example of this work, to view more click here.
I’m available for both freelance graphic and web design and ceramic commissions. For more information please contact me with the email address below.
